The 1930s record breaking aerodynamic locomotive was built by LNER. Designed by Sir Nigel Gresley, The Mallard Train was one of a new breed of super sleek, super fast trains. Which slashed journey times. The Mallard Train claimed its place in the railway hall of fame on the 3rd July 1938 when it set the world speed record for a steam train of 126 mph - still unsurpassed today.

Built-it 3D Puzzles gives you a chance to recreate your very own versions of inspired man-made creations. With just a little time and patience you'll soon construct a replica of your own, with the chance to appreciate the original in all its 3D splendour.
